The Prestige Magazine is an independent fashion, beauty, culture and lifestyle publication operated by Philipp Halfmann. These standards describe the principles used to commission, review, edit and publish our work.

Accuracy and verification

We aim to publish accurate headlines, captions, credits, dates, quotations and factual claims. Contributors should distinguish verified facts from opinion, interpretation and creative commentary. When a claim is material or could affect a person’s reputation, we seek reliable support and, where appropriate, an opportunity for the subject to respond.

Sourcing and attribution

We credit photographers, writers, models, designers, stylists, makeup artists and other contributors when reliable credit information is supplied. Direct quotations and third-party reporting must be attributed. Anonymous sourcing should be used only when there is a legitimate reason to protect a source and the information can be responsibly assessed.

Editorial independence and commercial content

Editorial judgment is not for sale. Paid partnerships, sponsored features, affiliate relationships, gifted products or other material commercial relationships should be clearly disclosed when they could influence how readers interpret the content. Advertisers and partners do not receive an undisclosed right to dictate independent editorial conclusions.

Visual integrity

Fashion and beauty images may involve normal color work, retouching and creative post-production. We avoid alterations that materially misrepresent documentary events or factual claims. Illustrative or AI-generated visuals should be labeled when their synthetic nature would not otherwise be clear or when readers could reasonably mistake them for documentary photography.

Respect, privacy and inclusion

We aim to represent people with dignity and avoid unnecessary stereotyping, humiliation or discrimination. Publication decisions should consider consent, privacy, cultural context, age and the potential impact on vulnerable people. Images or personal information should not be submitted without the permissions reasonably required for publication.

Conflicts of interest

Editors and contributors should disclose financial, professional or personal interests that could materially affect a story. A disclosure, reassignment or decision not to publish may be appropriate depending on the circumstances.

Copyright and contributor rights

We respect copyright, licensing, moral rights, privacy and publicity rights. Contributors retain ownership except where a separate written agreement states otherwise. Submission and publication terms are explained on the Submissions & Rights page.
