In my opinion, the greatest deception or evil ever cast upon society and the ways of man is racism. As well as convincing an entire race of brown people that they’re classified as Black, and should be proud of it.
The Melanated Nation Is Not Black
Black. Not African American, not Native American (which is accurate if you live in the US), not Melanated, not descendants of Shem, not African Jews, not Moors, just Black.
The person, persons, governments or rulers of state that conjured up the idea to categorize a global race of Brown-skinned people simply as Black must have truly despised these beautiful beings.
Because the word “black” is rarely used to describe anything beautiful or positive.
For example: You can get blacklisted because you’ve been blackballed by someone with a black heart.
Now you’re stuck under a black cloud after slipping on black ice during Black Friday. On Black Sunday you decide to purchase products off the Black market while smoking cigarettes that will eventually give you Black lungs.
You try to hide your smoking from your significant other, but your siblings try to blackmail you and threaten to reveal your secrete vice.
This angers you and makes you wonder if your siblings work for the Black Prince or the Prince of Darkness. Need I say more?
So when we say things like Black people, black pride, black family, black history, black lives, black love, black girl magic, what are we really speaking into existence?
The Melanated Nation Is Positive
The truth is we are not black! And you should not refer to yourself as Black. We are not what “they” have created.
Which is to trick us into defining ourselves as less than beautiful, less than human or simply associated with negative thought.
It’s all a game of deception and predictive programming that benefits only a certain group of people.
Brown-skinned people need to reject referring to themselves as Black and embrace or coin a new more positive term.
The Moors Were Avantgarde
How about Native American if you’re in the U.S.? Or simply African if you’re African, simply Caribbean if you are Caribbean or Moorish.
The Moors were people of dark skin who lived in North Africa and throughout the world. They brought Europe out of the Dark Ages (no education, no hygiene, no sense of health or nutrition) by introducing civilization, hygiene, science, agriculture, mathematics, astronomy & art.
The word Moor or Moorish is used generally by Europeans sometimes to denote Muslims or Black people.
Next, we need to take a second look at the sheer beauty that is our amazing melanated skin. Experience it through new eyes.
Melanated Skin Is Beautiful
Fall in love with your skin and it’s hue! No matter if it’s high yellow, red-bone, golden honey, caramel-coated, mahogany dream, or dark sensual chocolate, your skin is color is gorgeous!
No matter how dark your pigmentation is, it is not black! It’s not cursed, it’s not a negative, it’s not anything to be ashamed of, period! To be Black or White by definition means to be void of color. Are you without color? I didn’t think so.
We’re a race filled with color. An endless spectrum of beautiful shades and hues. So, why have we accepted or embraced the term Black to identify us?
There are people and entities that seek to destroy, cause self hate and mentally break the beautifully melanated people of this planet. Don’t let them win. Language matters. Fill your universe with positivity, love and light.
Melanin Is Precious
And never forget that your skin is brown because you are coated with one of our planet’s most valued & expensive resource, melanin. Remind yourselves of this daily.
However, if you prefer to continue referring to yourself as Black this is ok too. Just be aware of this categorization and its sole purpose to curse you, mock you and associate you with ugly negative things.
Just like the everyday words & phrases I mentioned earlier that have racist or negative connotations that you were just too programmed and accepting to notice.
“I have brown skin, brown hair, and brown eyes because I am blessed with the gift of melanin. And if it lives, breathes and has any kind of color in the spectrum, it contains melanin as well. Having Melanin gives me better eyesight, a more naturally muscular physique, and a more youthful elasticity to my skin. I am MELANATED and unapologetic.”
